Dr. Nicole Mardak, a Wisconsin native, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Marquette University in Milwaukee. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Mardak graduated with honors, including membership in the Tomb and Key Honor Fraternity and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
During her schooling, she completed clinical rotations at the West Palm Beach VA Hospital, the Illinois Eye Institute, the Chicago Lighthouse for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired, the University of Melbourne Eye Care Clinic in Australia, and locally at Georgia Eye Partners. During her final internship in Georgia, she and her husband decided to make Atlanta their home.
Dr. Mardak practices full-scope optometry and is passionate about helping patients who are “hard-to-fit” specialty and custom contact lens wearers. She’s a member of the American Optometric Association, the Georgia Optometric Association, the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association, and the Women’s Ophthalmic Association.
When not at Wildwood Eyecare, Dr. Mardak enjoys travel, scuba diving, reading novels, exploring new restaurants locally and abroad, learning about wine, cheering for the Green Bay Packers and Marquette Golden Eagles (during the winning seasons!), and walking about Midtown with her nearly famous Chihuahua, Tuco.
